With warm spring sunshine brightening our days, our heads need protection from the UV rays (oh we do love a bit of rhyming).

To that end, our collection of (mainly gents’) SUNHATS has been not just replenished, but enlarged… quite literally in the case of this giant-brimmed straw hat (this one’s clearly aimed at the ladies, so that’s not The Guvnor hiding under there, honest). Elegant enough for a wedding or race meeting, this stylish hat is so huge there’ll be no need for a parasol (though we do those, too), and with a statement this big you’ll be the talk of the garden party.

Most of these just-in designs are either straw or look like it (‘toyo’ is actually paper, but pretends very well.)

We’ve also had some more genuine PANAMA HATS arrive – both ladies’ and gents’ styles (and some that work for all) – so, for those looking for something a little more up-market, we cater to your tastes!

If high-level sun protection is your priority remember to look for the UPF50+ label – it means near-total sunblock. Our sunhats come in rigid or flexible, sometimes even crushable designs, with Panamas mostly rigid (you definitely don’t want to crush these…). There are many sunhat varieties in the ladies section, as well, plus fabric options for all. So much choice for the sunshine!
