April – All Change!

With Spring now well underway we thought we’d start our usual SEASONAL SWAP-AROUND… and then we thought again and decided we needed something a little more… well, more.

So we’ve brought all the gents’ and unisex hats into the ENTRANCE SIDE (No.32) – from the main photo you might just see that the crushable and waterproof Indianas and Stingy Brim Trilbies have stayed at the front – and moved all the ladies hats into No.30, properly restoring the LADIES SIDE to its original vision as when it was inaugurated in 2008!

The ‘Wedding‘ (Special Occasion) section remains in the front of No.30 but retains one of the few exceptions to the segregation, still having the top hats and bowlers as befit the events to which it caters. New ladies’ fancy hats and fascinators are beginning to arrive in time for the Summer season!

In the back room of No.30 we now have all the ladies’ sunhats (most being UPF50+ total sunblock, and crushable), plus dedicated ladies’ winter hats and the fabulous boutique umbrellas… some of which, also with an inner sunblock coating, double as parasols!

Talking of sunblock, our gents’ sunhats are now at the back of No.32 (opposite the Panamas)… and we’re starting to get our new-season stock in, too. Again, many are crushable and UPF50+. More will be landing as the season progresses.

Finally, all the fedoras have been consolidated in the middle of No.32, sandwiching the wall of caps. Other gents’ winter / wool felt hats are nearby.

Everything else is pretty much as it was, so you won’t need a map (despite our little emporium being a bit of a warren), but if you have any questions do ask one of the very friendly and knowledgeable staff (the ‘Snookettes’) or indeed the Guvnor himself. We look forward to your visit!
