‘Elegant Ensemble’ Winners

After holding off for much of the morning of Bridport Hat Festival (Saturday 7th September), the weather sadly did rain on our parade for the Snooks-sponsored ELEGANT ENSEMBLE Competitions up at Millennium Green. Nonetheless, we found our winners, and they brought their own sunshine!

Leading the charge were Sandie and Martin Neville from Salisbury, who won the Couples category and a handsome Snooks voucher worth £250. They were joined on the podium by Seth Roberts, of Frome, and Bridport’s own Emma Norton, who took the Gent and Lady titles respectively, and vouchers worth £125 each.

The competition was compered by Snookette Sue, and judged by The Guvnor and Mrs Snook along with Mr Phil from Sunday Afternoons (suppliers of sunhats). Assisting at the presentation were Bridport’s Carnival Princesses.

(And we did catch some of our entrants at the shop, too!)
