Hat Auction Tonight!

Never mind the rain, tonight’s HAT AUCTION is indoors!

This year, more than 150 hats, for both ladies and gents, have been donated by the good people of Bridport and beyond… and there are some absolute beauties.

The Snookettes have been busy readying the donated hats (some pictured) for this evening’s Hat Auction and they’ll also be helping at the auction itself, led as usual by infamous local auctioneer Mr Jim Rowe. There will also be a raffle and, of course, the venue has a bar.

Whilst a very entertaining evening awaits, the event also has a more serious side as, along with the rest of Bridport Hat Festival, proceeds will go to head-related charities.

So say ‘boo’ to the bad weather and get yourselves to the Bridport and West Dorset Club in South Street this evening (there’s plenty of parking nearby). Happy bidding!
