“Confessions from a Hat Shop”

Tall tales and improbable anecdotes from Bridport’s ‘largest little hat shop in the land’, recounted in her own inimitable style – and a succession of hats – are to feature in a talk at Bridport Hat Festival by Sue of Snooks (main image). It’s on ‘Haturday’ 1st September, 11am-12noon, in the ballroom of the Bull Hotel, East Street.

Sue’s ‘Confessions’ is the first of two talks on the day, the second being ‘Royal Hats: Uneasy Heads’ by author Clair Hughes (left), 2.15-3.15pm.

Tickets £5 per talk or £8 for both talks, available from T Snook, Bridport TIC and on the door, advance booking strongly advised.
