A level 3 heat health warning was issued by the Met Office yesterday, containing advice to (amongst other measures) “wear a hat”.
Similar advice appears on the website of the venerable (and 70 years old, happy birthday!) NHS, which also advises that the public, in this kind of weather, should wear: “a wide-brimmed hat that shades the face, neck and ears”.
We would add to that – many of our sun hats are rated UPF50+ for added protection.
Stay sun safe!
